Saps Swift Action Leads To The Arrest Of Business Robbers
Preliminary information indicates that the incident occurred on 18 April 2026 at approximately 20:00.
The complainant alleged that while he was inside his shop, four males entered and an altercation ensued.
One unknown male jumped over the counter, grabbed the cash from the register, and threatened the complainant with a panga before fleeing the scene on foot.
Information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect was immediately followed up by the Station Commander of Nababeep, Lt Col Mpofu and his members acted on the intelligence received, which led to the swift arrest of the suspect.
A total of four male suspects, aged between 32 and 60, were arrested in connection with the robbery and are expected to appear in court soon.
