With enthusiasm, Sol Plaatje Municipality’s Executive Mayor, Cllr Martha Bartlett unleashed on behalf of the municipality a school shoes donation drive for learners in need this morning.
The school shoes soles for the young souls voyage started at Roodepan High School and ended at the municipality’s adopted school, Homevale High School.
“We will extend this initiative to schools in Galeshewe, Ritchie, Riverton, and elsewhere.
“We are very grateful for the support from our sponsor MacroComm in sharing in our vision of propelling human development through education and ensuring learners’ in needs are not discouraged from attending school.”
