A family from Magogong near Taung is struggling to come to terms with the untimely passing of their son, Keotshepile Gift Ntopo; 21, who was fatally stabbed outside a well-known nightclub in Kimberley.
The incident happened on Sunday, 16 August 2026 at approximately 05:00.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Molefi Shemane said the Kimberley Serious Violence Crime Unit is investigating a murder case following the incident.
It is believed that the deceased was a second semester student at Phatsimang TVET college in Galeshewe.
Shemane said no arrest has been made yet, and that the investigation is continuing.
