Applications are open for the Northern Cape Department of Sport, Arts and Culture 2026/27 Community Arts Development Programme (CADP).
Grant Funding of up to R50 000 is available per approved project while up to R30 000 can be approved for Procurement of Goods and Services per approved beneficiary.
Applications open on 01 September 2026 and close on 15 September 2026 at 23:00.
Eligible Community Arts Centres and Community Arts Organisations are invited to submit proposals that address identified community needs and priorities in line with the programme framework.
The CADP seeks to expand access and participation in arts and cultural activities, supporting initiatives that foster skills development, creative expression, social cohesion, and the growth of the cultural and creative industries.
This programme has been approved and funded for implementation in the current financial year and represents a strategic investment in strengthening community arts development across the Province.
Applicants are required to be a registered NPO or NPC, and operate within the arts and culture sector around the Northern Cape Province.
They must hold a valid bank account, before submitting all required supporting documents.
Applications are encouraged to apply are in the areas of Music, Visual Arts and Crafts, Dance, Film and Television, Theatre and Drama, and Design and Creatives. Priority will be given to organisations led by women, youth, and persons living with disabilities.
The department warned that all submissions will undergo administrative and compliance screening, followed by adjudication by an appointed committee to ensure fairness.
No late applications will be accepted and the process will be handled with transparency, and accountability.

Beneficiaries who failed to submit reports in the 2025/26 cycle will be automatically disqualified.
