CRC building dedicated to its congregants

The Christian Revival Church (CRC) opened its new building doors on 10 April 2024, along the Cape Town Road.

The dedication featured an array of prestigious guests, including the Premier of the Northern Cape Dr Zamani Saul and the Executive Mayor for Sol Plaatje municipality, Kagisho Sonyoni as well as fellow CRC pastors from other parts of the country, including Pastor Hennie van der Merwe who is the founder of CRC Kimberley branch in 1995.

Congregants and community members came in numbers to witness this glorious moment.

“This is a dream coming to pass.   Fifteen-years-ago, we bought this property, and today, the dream has come true,” said pastor van de Merwe.

He further stated, “I am so glad to be part of the CRC movement, Pastor At is here tonight and I am still alive to see what’s happening. I’ve spoken to God always in my heart to release rivers of living water through this place.”

The elated Pastor At Boshof, founder and Senior Pastor of the church said.  “This is the plan and purpose of God for this area. As we cut the ribbon we are opening the doors of this house for the presence of God, which will be a habitation, a dwelling place of God. People that are broken and lost will come to this place to encounter the love, the grace, and the mercy of God, that will be a good spring of life.”

The building was designed by Wynand Du Plessis and Andre Hershensohn architect from DBM Architects. Hans Koorn from Fortem Consulting Engineers was the structural engineer, the quantity surveyors from QS Bureau, MWD Kalahari Civil Engineers, and CDS Electrical Engineers. The auditorium can accommodate up to 3500 people, boasting a refreshment and youth section.

In his closing remarks Pastor Brian Coetzee gave thanks to every person who supported the building process, CRC national pastors and members, “We stand on the shoulders of giants who have labored and sacrificed for many years, tonight is a very big celebration of a vision came to pass.”
