Maxim brings smiles to children at Bophelo Child and Youth Care Center

Maxim, the e-hailing service, marked Mandela Month by bringing joy, care and support to children at Bophelo Child and Youth Care Center in Kimberley on Saturday, 25 July 2026.
Maxim provided meals, snacks and essential items to Bophelo Center.
The day was celebrated with Maxim Representatives from Kimberley Region, Bakang Khaba, Pako Khaba and Karabo Bonokwane, as well as caregivers from the center, community volunteers and the children. To make it a memorable event, they made music, danced and participated in all activities.
Bophelo Child and Youth Care Center is home to abandoned and neglected children, children with special needs and mothers experiencing crisis pregnancies. The center is currently housing 15 children, offering a safe and nurturing environment to grow, learn and thrive.
Bakang Khaba, said the initiative reflects the importance of giving back to the communities the company operates in.
