The police in Rosedale are searching for a 35 year old man reported to be missing since 15 August 2026.
The missing man, Thomas Bosman, was last seen by his friend on the said date when they went fishing.
According to his friend, he left Thomas in Kameelmond while still fishing, but when he returned later, he was no longer there.
Police spokesperson W/O Omphile Masegela said Bosman never returned home either.
Masegela said the Search and Rescue Diving Unit was deployed immediately after the police were notified.
“The Police are currently still searching for the missing person in the vicinity,” Masegela said.
Thomas was last seen wearing blue denim shorts, a green t-shirt, and orange flops.
